in April 2026, Vietnam exported 31,053 tons of pepper, with a value of US$193.1 million, including 27,408 tons of black pepper and 3,645 tons of white pepper. Compared to the same period in April 2025, the export volume increased by 16.8%, and compared to March 2026, the export volume increased by 1.4%, however, the value decreased by 3.1%.
The United States continues to be Vietnam’s largest export market, with a volume of 7,272 tons, down 9.8% compared to March 2026 but still accounting for 23.4% of Vietnam’s total exports that month. China is Vietnam’s second largest export market with 4,561 tons, up 24.5% compared to the previous month. The UAE reached 1,735 tons, up 54.1%; India reached 1,427 tons, up 54.1%; Egypt reached 1,244 tons, down 4.2%; Thailand reached 1,227 tons, up 4.0%; Turkey reached 1,097 tons, a sharp increase of 165.0%, while exports to the Netherlands reached 918 tons, down 14.7% and Germany reached 850 tons, down 18.7%.
